Our organization represents spill response contractors, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, instructors, government & training institutions and corporations working in the industry. Our membership spans the entire United States, and routinely supports industry clients and state & federal governmental agencies. SCAA promotes a healthy and vibrant all-hazards response posture from the sharing of best management practices in health & safety programs, workforce development initiatives and by taking a proactive advocacy role with governmental entities. Committee UpdatesThe Future Environmental Leaders (FEL) Committee is in the process of designing a new Environmental Excellence Scholarship Program for College and Technical School Students, as a means to driving greater awareness and interest in the environmental field. The Membership Committee will rollout a new Orientation Program in an effort to do a better job of “on-boarding” new members to SCAA. Stay tuned! Our Safety Committee has announced a half-day SCAA Safety Officer training program will be held in conjunction with the 2024 Clean Gulf Conference in Houston, TX.
