Future Environmental Leaders

SCAA’s Emerging Environmental Leaders (EEL) program encourages the active development, mentorship and growth of young professionals in our industry, and have recognized the need for encouraging students to pursue a career in the environmental field.

SCAA is excited to announce the new Environmental Excellence Award will be offered in Fall 2024, to students that are rising juniors or seniors, at their Academy, College or University. Additional details will be available in the summer.

The Future Environmental Leaders (FEL) Committee is in the process of designing a new Environmental Excellence Scholarship Program for College and Technical School Students, as a means to driving greater awareness and interest in the environmental field.
The Membership Committee will rollout a new Orientation Program in an effort to do a better job of “on-boarding” new members to SCAA. Stay tuned!
Our Safety Committee has announced a half-day SCAA Safety Officer training program will be held in conjunction with the 2024 Clean Gulf Conference in Houston, TX.
